Proposed Itinerary

Following the success of the inaugural Hobie Island Big Day Out, Hobie Cat Australasia and its Hobie Dealers would like to invite you to the Queensland Hobie Island Big Day Out to be held on the pristine waters of Lake Cootharaba from the 26th to the 27th of May 2012.

The Hobie Island Big Day Out will be a chance to get together with other Hobie Adventure Island and Tandem Island owners and have a sail together.

Activities planned include sailing and instruction sessions.

For catering purposes and logistic, registration is required.

Don't forget your

• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Drink Container
• Mobile phone (in a waterproof bag)
• Also marine radio, GPS, fishfinder if you have.

Program (weather dependent)

Saturday 26th May 2012

1pm: meet at Lake Cootharaba sailing Clubhouse for registration and brief instruction session on using Adventure Islands, sailing tips etc followed by sailing on the lake.

6:30pm Meet at Apollonian Hotel for pre-dinner drinks.

Sunday 27th May 2012

7:00am: Breakfast, supplied by Sunstate Hobie at the clubhouse, followed by instruction session about using Radios, fishfinders and GPS.

9am: sailing on the Lake, and adventuring up through the everglades to Figtree Lake for a picnic lunch supplied by Sunstate Hobie, followed by sail back and de-rig.
